Jennifer

Amanda met Jen in law school. Although they both thought the other was snotty when they first met, they both soon realized that they had more in common with each other than just being tall. Amanda roomed with Jen for two years of law school and luckily Jen let Amanda be her roommate once again when Amanda evacuated New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. Jen and Amanda have been through a lot together over the years and Amanda thinks that Jen is one of the most generous people she knows.

Tricia

Amanda and Tricia met when they were about 5 years old.  They used to walk home from  school together and then make queso as their afternoon snack.  Amanda’s love for queso has endured as most of you know and Amanda’s friendship with Tricia has also remained constant.  Amanda wishes that Tricia lived closer to her but through the many years of living in different states they have remained the best of friends.

Cara

Amanda and Cara met all because of the “The Hills.”  Amanda was having a Hills viewing party and a friend extended the invite to Cara.  Amanda is so glad that Cara was invited.  They both have the gift of gab and Amanda feels like each time they hang out that there is not one moment of silence.  Cara’s sweetness and niceness is contagious.  Amanda often thinks Cara makes her a better person and friend.

Diana

Amanda can’t take credit for meeting Diana. Amanda was introduced to Diana by Jason. Lucky for Amanda, Diana dated at that time and is now married to one of Jason’s good friends--Evan. Amanda’s favorite times spent with Diana have been on the ski slopes in Breckenridge, Colorado. Amanda and Diana virtually have the same skill set so they are often left to their own devices on the greens (and some blues) while the boys venture out onto black diamonds.

Jennifer

Amanda is happy to say that she will gain her first sibling by marrying Jason.  Amanda is an only child and lucky for her, Jason has a sister.  Amanda is looking forward to getting to know Jennifer better and being able to celebrate the holidays with her from here on out.

Tabitha

Amanda met Tabitha at work. Amanda and Tabitha formed a fast friendship which involved many nights of sushi, Mexican food and gossiping. Tabitha also held Amanda’s anxiety-ridden hands through her first big purchase—her home. Unfortunately, Tabitha is no longer Amanda’s co-worker but luckily still a great friend.
