John

A twin brother from another mother, John and Jason became fast friends while at Baylor. They share the same birthday with Jason 3 years John’s senior, but they both seem to swap being the older, wiser brother at times. Jason is thankful to have John in his life and he considers John the rock he can always count on. Jason enjoys the snowboarding trips they take and also their ridiculous shared love of the ‘Fast and the Furious’ movies. Jason and John always have a good time; usually on a patio sipping margaritas.

Evan

Evan is probably the coolest ‘dork’ you will find. Evan and Jason became friends a few years back when Evan was invited to a party at Jason’s apartment. From there, Evan invited and introduced Jason to Houston’s soccer elite, Dolls N Balls. Their friendship grew and they have bonded over their interests in the outdoors (Garner State Park), movies, and adventure, whether real or fantasy (Dominion). Jason values his friendship with Evan and if it could be purchased in a store, he would rate it ‘definitely a buy’.

Jake

Jake is Jason’s cousin so they have grown up together. If Jake had a personal motto, it would probably be ‘Try and stop me’. Because of this, Jason enjoys Jake’s passion for life and challenge even if it gets him into trouble every now and again. Whether it is raising a duck or working as ‘Ranger Jake’ for a graduate internship, Jake is always entertaining. Jake is also getting married this year and Jason and Amanda are both looking forward to having Jake, and his future wife Holly, in their lives.

Mark

Also Jason’s cousin, Mark recently graduated top of his class in undergraduate and graduate school from Baylor and will being working this fall. Not only brilliant, Mark also possesses impressive artistic and musical talent and could easily pursue those as a career. Jason holds Mark’s ability to balance his drive and laid back approach to life, in high regard. Jason has no doubt that Mark will be successful in whatever path he chooses and is excited to see where he goes, as long as he wakes up on time.

David

Since their fraternity days at Baylor and becoming ‘Soul Men’ in SING, Jason and David have been close friends. Smart, mature and well versed in the arts, David is always there to give advice, help Jason avoid pitfalls, and to discuss all things Timberlake. Jason is lucky to have met and have David and his family in his life. David is Jason’s favorite Irish import, followed closely by Guinness.

Jonathan

Although only having known Jonathan for a few years, Jason knows that he will always have Jonathan in his life. You’d be hard pressed to find someone else as warm hearted as Jonathan. He goes out of his way to do things for others and is never too busy for anyone. It’s this attitude that makes Jason relish in times spent fishing, pretending to be bouncers, playing soccer, or just hanging out playing video games with Jonathan. Jason looks forward to many more adventures with Jonathan, right after he finishes working on his car. 

Kevin

Kevin is Jason’s favorite mad scientist / evil genius and he always has several irons in the fire. It is because of this, Jason is pretty sure that Kevin will one day rule the world, or possibly accidentally destroy it. Jason loves having debates with Kevin on all topics ranging from world politics to why gift cards should be abolished. Kevin has a passion for everything, and that carries over to his friends. Jason is elated to have Kevin in his wedding, even if he did usurp Ski Kujda.
